Commentary:

I stumbled upon "The Vinyl Community" on YouTube quite by accident, all these people from all over the world who make videos about their record collections. I felt like I had finally found my people: truly obsessive record nerds! I felt so inspired that I just had to jump in this week. It’s sort of like “show and tell” – and as Liz pointed out, who doesn’t like that? Enjoy!

Great to see you on the VC Rodger. You're right - it is really inspiring. I do occasional posts with my friend Mark on the drrhythmn channel: http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIKMhDcWLnMuwXogd7UkmFA

Ha, I was wondering if you were ever gonna drink that beer in Video one.

Nice to see some records I have/have had in your collection.

I don't have any vinyl any more but I am tempted to make my own share and tell Videos.

Anyhow it was interesting to watch your videos.
But I can't believe you haven't mentioned Sun Ra yet.

Thank you, Roddus. Well, I mentioned Sun Ra briefly in my first one (well, the tribute disc I'm on). Don't worry, lots of Sun Ra to show and tell! :)

Yes you did Rodger, that's right I remember now. and I do love that song of yours on Wavelengh infinity. It is a highlight on an exceptionally good tribute album.

Damn, Rodger, you've been busy! Haven't had the time yet to plow through all these but what a pleasure it is to hear you talking at length about rekkids. I've gotten as far as Elton J. And I've taken a look at the other youtube videos and it looks like there's a lot out there to explore! Great fun. You show the red vinyl RCA label....for me it was the classic black label...Elvis, "Hound Dog"...I loved the look of the single's label and I loved the music and I loved watching it go round and round...ever since ('58 for me) I've been hooked....
